JJ's house came to the rescue! I had been looking for a mother of the bride dress for over a year....to no avail. My sister recommended JJ's house. I found this beautiful navy dress and JJ's got it to me in time for my daughter's wedding on Sept 23, 2023. The dress fit is true to size. It was amazing quality and I felt beautiful in it! My purse is from JJ's and matched perfect to my shoes!!! Thank you for being a part of making our fall wedding wonderful!

Fall of love
You can't have a fall wedding without the beautiful fall leaves! I had been searching for a while to find the perfect dress, but wasn't having much luck. Finally, when I found JJ's house website I couldn't believe the amazing selection of wedding dresses along with the prices as well. I decided that the dress should be fitted but romantic. My husband picked a beautiful venue with a forest covered in a fall color leave wonderland!!

I loved the stormy blue dress. It felt elegant and received lots of positive comments. Excellent value and great service. I used the try at home option which worked really well. Answered Prayer
Our son is finally getting married to his long time girlfriend! The date is September 16, 2023! They have been together for over 15 years!! She is an only daughter who lost her Mom several years back and has to be so independent and strong. We are so excited to make it official and to gain a daughter. The venue is a beautiful outdoor area in the country side with an arch, with a reception on the grounds after located next to the river in a barn with beautiful wood walls, fireplace, background arch Incase of rain. The tables, chairs, Candles, birds, trees and even a working farm with horses, cows, sheep and such within sight but not smell! Lol The colors, white, navy blue n yellow accents. Lush table runners of boxwood and white Lillie's, fairy lights intertwined and lanterns with doves. Can not wait to show off my new dress coming from JJs as the mother of the groom! Walking and dancing with my hubby in his tux, while my son twirls his new beautiful bride around!

Our wedding was a post apocalyptic/ dystopian theme! My best advice and insight is planning a wedding is more stressful than you can ever imagine. Through the process, the ups and downs, remember that is it 100% worth it and you will forget all the chaos you went through there moment you walk down the aisle.

Project planning to the Max
Yes we are the kind of people who are super into planning. With only four months between engagement and wedding, there's not a lot of room for error. Luckily, I'm the type of person that is efficient. Within 24 hours of being engaged I had the reception venue, photographer, videographer, hair, makeup, food, ministers, and flowers all booked. Within 5 days of getting engaged, I bought my dress; it was from the first fitting and whilst I did sit on it for a day, there's nothing quite like buying something you really like on the first try. My secrets to efficiency: don't care too much, have a plan, write a plan out, execute the plan. Check out our awesome project planning board for inspiration. Next, Pinterest! I didn't really like Pinterest but my stylist said, "USE PINTEREST". It's been great for sharing ideas for our bridesmaids dresses (which we just purchased from JJs House), and even ideas for engagement rings (we are getting our designed by a family member). Finally, a website. There's a lot out there that you can use, but I'm a developer so I built my own from scratch in 8 hours! It even has a countdown timer. I think this whole entry just shows... I'm a complete nerd! ;) and I can't wait to get married <3
My Greek purple wedding
My wedding was in early September in Greece; we got caught in Storm Daniel which devastated the mainland and some nearby islands, making it very difficult for a lot of our guests to get there, but on the day itself the rain dissipated, making our little purple wedding possible. My wedding dress (a mid length A-line tulle and applique beauty) and all my bridesmaids' dresses (different designs, all in Tahiti) were from JJ's House, and along with my husband's purple suit and my dusty lavender overskirt, it all came together beautifully for an unusual and beautiful colour scheme. I only had to alter the straps on my dress as they were too long originally, but otherwise the off-the-rack size I ordered fit me perfectly! I felt like a princess all day long, with the added comfort of being able to dance in my shorter length dress and custom ivory Converse shoes. It was a magical wedding and we all looked incredible ?
