My top priority was to have a dress that I could totally dance the night away in, something flowy, comfy and gorgeous - and this totally fit the bill! I didn't even need any shapewear underneath, the dress is so forgiving and flattering.
I decided to upload pictures not of the pretty photoshoot in the beginning, but of the actual reception party, because I think that's what the wedding it about and that's my biggest tip to future brides - prioritize FUN in the wedding over aesthetics! We tried not to stress at all over the little things, not to freak out about the florals, about the guest count or the weather - just make sure you have good food and a killer playlist and savor every minute of the shower of love and joy that is your wedding.
This is us dancing to The way you look tonight by Frank Sinatra, under the stars, at our perfect early summer wedding, and having an absolute blast.
