Growing up I competed in pageants regularly. When I got to college age I quit to allow my little sister to have the chance at winning while I carried her crown. I decided after being out of the pageant circuit for 8 years to compete at a national level with my JJhouse dress. I placed second runner up with the plan to attend again my final year but God had other plans. I am now a mom of two beautiful but unhealthy children. I gave birth at only 26 weeks. My son spent 100 days in the NICU and my daughter spent 101 days in a local NICU then was transferred to another state for a trach and has continued to be there for 9 months so far as she is hooked up to a breathing machine. I am a single mother working to make ends meet while being 9 hours from my daughter and traveling to see her when I can. I have almost lost her five times and did loose her for 5 minutes about a month ago with CPR needed to bring her back. I am just happy and blessed to have both my babies alive!!!
