Question 1

Should flower girl dresses match the bride?

Accepted Answer

While there is no strict rule, it is a matter of personal preference. Some brides opt to coordinate the flower girl's dress with the overall wedding theme or the attire of the bridesmaids. This can create a cohesive and visually pleasing aesthetic.

However, the most important consideration is choosing a dress that suits the wedding style and makes the flower girl feel comfortable and cherished.

Question 2

Who is responsible for buying the flower girl dress?

Accepted Answer

In most cases, it is the responsibility of the flower girl's parents to purchase the dress. They are usually expected to cover the cost of the dress and any associated accessories.

However, it is important to note that the arrangement may vary based on individual circumstances and the agreement between the couple and the parents. Some couples may offer to contribute or cover the expenses as a gesture of appreciation.

Question 3

Who is typically chosen as the flower girl?

Accepted Answer

The flower girl is typically a beloved family member of the bride or groom, such as a niece, cousin, or a close family friend. This cherished role is typically assigned to a young girl between the ages of 3 and 9, although the specific age range can vary based on individual preferences and considerations.

Question 4

Today, flower girls can be seen in an array of hues that coordinate with the wedding's color palette. From delicate blush tones to captivating gold shades, there are countless possibilities to suit the desired style and theme of the celebration.
