Loved the dress. it was not true to size so I paid $120 to alter it after using your size chart.
Ordering went great. The package arrived only a few days late than it stated on the order and the dress was exactly the dimensions ordered in and in the perfect champagne color (a very pale light gold shade, not peachy colored or too close to gold like some champagne colors are). Exactly what I was looking for. The draping on the front compliments any girl with a huge belly or wide hips. The empire waist rouching hides those areas as well and for us that are perfectly "boobed" accentuates the neckline just right. It is a stunning dress. For under $200 it was a great deal.
So why not five stars? I'll still have to take this dress into the seamstress as they put way too much padding in the chest area for the dimensions given (big breasted women don't need padded chests) and the armpits were way too tight. I don't recall seeing anywhere that would be the case. If it was I would have noted not to do it so much. Also there were a lot of stray threads peeking out (luckily in hidden spots, but still worry about the dress falling apart as you wear it). Hides way too much of my natural curves (yes I still have them even though I'm heavyset). Highly recommend you give your measurements with at least a few extra inches on it and if you are big breasted or have above average body dimensions ask for extra sleeve fabric in the armpits and to go easy on the upper body fabric. But the fabric color and shape was perfect looking. The only major qualm I do have is that the zipper used was low quality and a total B-I-T-C-H to zip up on your own. And the zipper line was sewn too close to fabric so it got stuck on the fabric. It would have be fine with a ribbon tied onto a safety pin and strung through the zipper pull, except the zipper pull had no hole in it like standard zipper pulls do so there was not enough leverage to get the zipper through the fabric. Needless to say I worked up a sweat trying to zip my dress on. Had maybe I could raise my arms it might have gone easier. So it'll cost more than the usual perfecting I was going to do. All in all it felt like the dress was made rushed (even though it took longer to receive it than it stated for the worse case scenario)
