How to measure
Measure with undergarments similar to those you will wear with your dress; Do not measure over other clothing. Make sure the measuring tape is parallel to the floor and pulled evenly across the body with no slack. You may want to consider getting professionally measured.
Bust
*This is not your bra size!
*Wear a bra
*Relax arms at sides
*Pull tape across the fullest part of the bust
Waist
*Find the natural waist
*This is the smallest part of the waist
*Usually about 1 in. above belly button
*Keep tape slightly loose to
allow for breathing room
Hips
*Find the widest part of the hips
*Usually about 7 in. below natural waist
*Tape should brush across both hipbones
Shoulder
Shoulder - From the edge of the shoulder socket, measure across the back to the same point on the other shoulder.
Hollow to Floor (Bare Foot)
*Stand straight with feet together
*Measure in bare feet
*Begin at the hollow space

I ordered this dress at the beginning of April for a wedding I will be in at the end of this month. I read reviews on here that were very positive so I ordered the dress, although I have never purchased clothing online before and was a little wary. After reading alot of negative reviews on external websites I did have some doubts about the quality of the product and the sizing. I had paid extra for custom sizing so hoped that it would be close enough to the measurements I sent (I am a plus size woman, generally wearing a size 20-22). I emailed jj's house about my concerns and they assurred me that the quality would be good and that the sizing would be within an inch of what I had ordered. I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. I received the dress today ( a week earlier than I requested it for) and am pleased to say that the dress is gorgeous and the quality is excellent. The sizing was pretty accurate, although I will have to get the straps shortened because they are too long, but in all other areas the dress fits perfectly. I was a little shocked that I had to pay almost $80 in customs charges to get the package. Would be nice if jj's house mentioned the possibility of these charges since I was not aware there would be additional charges. I will definately shop with jj's house again for future dresses. If you are wary about those negative reviews I hope this one eases your mind!

Hi... I fall in love with this dress but the color of the material you use for the dress doesn't look right for the theme of our wedding party. I am looking for a bright purple. some like the regency in our silk like satin or the grape in your organza and even better yet your Lilac in in your taffeta. Which color of the purple in chiffon would you recommend for a brighter purple. please advise as I will need this dress soon.

We have decided to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary "big" at the last minute. I love this dress. My sisters and I tried on a dress similar to this and it looked good. I understand this dress can be made in black, but can the rhinestones be a different color, like gold. Also, if all of this is possible, will it be possible to have this delivered no later than June 1, 2012. We will need 4 dresses. We are desperate! :)

Your dresses are absolutely beautiful, I love this dress but the only problem is, I had a bilateral mastectomy and my prothesis would be very evident in this dress, is there anyway that the V-neck can be altered just enough that it wouldn't go down as far.
Or even possible, can some of your strapless dresses go up just a little further. It seems that the dresses that I might be able to get away with wearing are not as beautiful as some of the others. I plan on getting married in June of 2013, but all of your wedding dresses are deep V-necks or very low strapless...."HELP!" and please keep us in mind.

I was just wondering if the straps of this dress could be customized to be a bit wider, similar to Item ID #020003298 or maybe have cap sleeves similar to Item ID #007004117? If this can be done, how much extra would it be to have wider straps/cap sleeves together with ordering the dress using custom size (i'm a bit petite)?
Will the customizing also add additional processing days?
