How to measure
Measure with undergarments similar to those you will wear with your dress; Do not measure over other clothing. Make sure the measuring tape is parallel to the floor and pulled evenly across the body with no slack. You may want to consider getting professionally measured.
Bust
*This is not your bra size!
*Wear a bra
*Relax arms at sides
*Pull tape across the fullest part of the bust
Waist
*Find the natural waist
*This is the smallest part of the waist
*Usually about 1 in. above belly button
*Keep tape slightly loose to
allow for breathing room
Hips
*Find the widest part of the hips
*Usually about 7 in. below natural waist
*Tape should brush across both hipbones
Shoulder
Shoulder - From the edge of the shoulder socket, measure across the back to the same point on the other shoulder.
Hollow to Floor (Bare Foot)
*Stand straight with feet together
*Measure in bare feet
*Begin at the hollow space
between the collarbones and
pull tape straight down to the floor
*To fit high heels, we’ll add
an extra 5 cm onto custom-sized
floor-length dresses and dresses with trains

I bought this dress with the custom tailoring. Turned out perfect! Tip: make sure you measure with shoes you will be wearing. In addition, it has a built in bra, so if you want to wear a bra put it on before you measure.

I'm also not sure about the height of the built-in bra, but that might be the custom-order's fault.
I would recommend buying the dress with a few extra centimeters added to your measurements,boning and padding are very thick.

I purchased this dress and did custom measurements. I think I may have measured a bit loose, it is very close to perfect but since I am working out regularly I may need to have it taken in a bit before my July 2013 wedding. The lace is beautiful, thank you for a quality dress at a great price.

I really love this dress and am considering it for my 2 bridemaids, just wondered is there something for the girls to hold up the train when dancing or could it be made to just fall to floor with no train?
