Wear an unpadded bra (your dress will have a built-in bra) Relax arms at sides Pull tape across the fullest part of the bust	Waist Find the natural waist This is the smallest part of the waist Usually about 1 inch (ca. 2.5cm) above belly button Keep tape slightly loose to allow for breathing room	Hips Find the widest part of the hips Usually about 7 inch (ca. 18cm) below natural waist Tape should brush across both hipbones

I too have ordered this dress for the Marine Corps Ball coming up. It is absolutely perfect! I was so happy and impressed with how beautiful it was. I payed a little extra to have it done to my measurements and it was well worth it! It was exactly what I ordered, and it came in a timely manner. Before I bought this dress, I had purchased a dress that was one size too big from Macy's and that particular style didn't come in the size smaller that I needed. I thought that maybe I could just go get it altered to fit me but after getting a couple quotes on how much it would be to just alter the dress, it was going to cost more than the dress itself! So of course I took it back. Then I found JJsHouse. It was something new, so I was really hesitant and nervous. The prices were great and I read lots of other's reviews and the policy. I ordered this dress and was able to pay just a little extra to have it custom made to my measurements. When I got my dress I was so impressed with how it fit exactly to my body. I am short and small so it is hard to find dresses to fit me. I thought it was amazing that all these places that do alterations were going to charge and arm and a leg to do it, and here I got the exact dress I wanted with my exact measurements.
