How to measure
Measure with undergarments similar to those you will wear with your dress; Do not measure over other clothing. Make sure the measuring tape is parallel to the floor and pulled evenly across the body with no slack. You may want to consider getting professionally measured.
Bust
*This is not your bra size!
*Wear a bra
*Relax arms at sides
*Pull tape across the fullest part of the bust
Waist
*Find the natural waist
*This is the smallest part of the waist
*Usually about 1 in. above belly button
*Keep tape slightly loose to
allow for breathing room
Hips
*Find the widest part of the hips
*Usually about 7 in. below natural waist
*Tape should brush across both hipbones
Shoulder
Shoulder - From the edge of the shoulder socket, measure across the back to the same point on the other shoulder.
Hollow to Floor (Bare Foot)
*Stand straight with feet together
*Measure in bare feet
*Begin at the hollow space
between the collarbones and
pull tape straight down to the floor
*To fit high heels, we’ll add
an extra 5 cm onto custom-sized
floor-length dresses and dresses with trains

I am very pleased with this gorgeous dress! I was concerned it might be poor quality with cheap material, but was pleasantly surprised. A few hanging threads and some of the lace/beadwork not well fixed, but easily repaired. Like another reviewer, i too had mine made to fit, but the bodice is very loose, but im actually quite glad, as im losing weight, so will have to have some adjustments made anyway. I chose ivory with a grape coloured sash, and i also bought a pair of JJ's house shoes which suit the dress exactly. It is a bit of a gamble buying on line, but you need to be confident that at least the style will suit you, so go and try different styles on at the shops first.Also remember the models are TINY, so take care you dont fall in love with the dress on the model, cos it will look very different on a different body shape.! Ive been telling everyone about JJ's house and am so pleased i didnt get pressured to pay 1000's of dollars on a dress that i will probably wear only once and probably never be able to sell for anything like what i paid.

I love my dress! It arrived 4 days earlier than the latest date I marked on the form, no extra fee for delivery either. The color (champagne and gold) and beadwork are so pretty. The dress is quite heavy, in a good way, it feels like a quality garment. It's fully lined and comfortable. The zipper works smoothly. I was quite concerned about the sleeves not fitting, so I sent along an armhole measurement to be safe, and the sleeves fit fine.
I don't have much bad to say about it, but I want to give an honest review, so I will mention that it is a bit loose in the bust and waist, I will need to have it tailored, but I was expecting this, and frankly, I'm just glad it's not too tight! There are some loose threads here and there that need snipping, no big deal. And a tiny imperfection (snag) in the waist sash, nothing anyone other than the bride would notice.
I was really worried about ordering online, but I'm glad I did. I wanted a wedding dress that wasn't white, wasn't floor length, and had sleeves. There was almost nothing in the stores. I'm a larger lady, too big for the standard dresses, but too small for the plus size dresses. Thank goodness I found JJsHouse.

Oh my god, just received my stunning wedding dress. It beats all my expectation as it is beautifully crafted and appears hand finished. It is a perfect custom fit and the colour is as shown, I cannot fault the dress in any way.

I am having surgery at the end of January 2013 so I will not be sure what size I will be. Is this dress going to be available the end of Feb. or beginning of Mar. 2013, cause I will be able to know the right size by then.
